Our Story

Asahi Beer USA can trace its roots back to 1998, although our super premium Asahi Super Dry brand has been available in the United States since 1994.

Twisted Shotz joined our portfolio in 2019 when Independent Distillers (which was established as a fully owned subsidiary of the Asahi Beverages group in 2001) became part of Asahi Beer USA.

In 2024, Octopi Brewing was acquired and has since become the home and production hub for Asahi Super Dry in the United States.

Asahi Beer USA is part of Asahi Europe & International.
